The difference between parallel magnetization and radial magnetization in arc-shaped

Parallel Magnetization:

  • The magnetic field is distributed along the length of the magnet.
  • The poles (north and south) are on the two parallel faces of the magnet.
  • Suitable for applications that require a uniform magnetic field along the length direction.

Radial Magnetization:

  • The magnetic field is distributed radially, from the center of the magnet outward or from the outside inward.
  • The poles are on the inner and outer arc surfaces of the magnet.
  • Suitable for applications requiring a ring-shaped or radial magnetic field, such as certain motors and sensors.
